Vintage 9ct Green Stone, Pearl and Diamond Brooch. Boxed. c1930s 

A delightful brooch consisting of a lustrous green emerald cut peridot coloured stone, surrounding by a detail scolloped shape setting with old cut diamonds, this in turn with 8 pearls set at the end of fine gold bars that radiate from the central stone.

A beautiful intricate and detailed piece of work in which I believe to be it’s original box.

The centre green stone appears to be peridot but is untested so cannot be confirmed. The pearls are cultured and the diamonds are natural.

Condition.
In overall excellent condition, clasps in excellent secure shape and fitting in good and working order. I believe 2 of the pearls (South and West) have been replaced with new over time, one of these has a mark which can be seen in photos. Please examine all photos (magnified) for further details.

Metal is unmarked but responds positively to tests for 9ct Gold.
